In the year 2015 there are millions of people travelling on airplanes everyday. That means, there are millions of people eating airplane food, every single day. The question that should be pretty popular—although it seems not—is, is airline food healthy?? Let’s take a look around and see which airlines thought about this when they chose the menu.

This question is mainly for economy class passengers, as the food served in economy class is highly commercialized food, which is more or less in the category of fast food. For the passengers in Business and First Class however, the food served is more similar to that of a restaurant, which is gourmet and personalized meals. This is only one of the many benefits included when travelling in Business or First Class as well as fine wines and incredible service. For the full experience however, stop by our website and get a quote on  cheap Business class and cheap First class, long haul international flights.

Taking first place on the list for the healthiest airline food is, Virgin America Airlines who received a 4.5 out 5 star rating, followed by the others on the list below.

A tip that can be helpful for upcoming travels, is to always bring a backup food or snack that you know you’ll be happy with during the flight.
